Common questions
I can’t connect to my server+
Check host, port (default 22), and username. Confirm the server allows SSH from your network. For password auth, verify the password. For key auth, ensure the public key is in authorized_keys on the server and the private key was imported correctly.
SSH key login fails after restart+
If the key is encrypted, save the passphrase in the Keychain when you add or edit the connection. Re-import the key if needed from the Keys tab.
Where are my passwords stored?+
Passwords and key passphrases are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. We do not run a SSHaven cloud account that stores your credentials.
Agent install failed+
SSHaven runs official install scripts (with your consent). Check the install log in the wizard. Node-based agents bootstrap nvm/Node if npm is missing. You can always install manually over a normal shell session.
Local network permission+
SSHaven may ask for local network access so you can reach devices on your LAN (e.g. a home server). You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
How do I delete my data?+
Delete individual connections or keys in the app, or remove SSHaven from your device to clear app data.
