• SSHaven is designed to work primarily on your device.
• SSH host details you save (name, host, port, username) are stored locally on your device.
• Passwords, private keys, and key passphrases are stored on your device using the platform keystore (iOS Keychain or Android EncryptedSharedPreferences / Android Keystore) — not on our servers.
• We do not operate a SSHaven user account system, and we do not sell your personal data.
• Network traffic goes between your device and the SSH servers you choose to connect to.
• Optional install-recipe catalogs may be fetched over HTTPS from sshaven.app (or another allowlisted host). Those requests do not include your SSH credentials.

Depending on how you use SSHaven, the App may store:

• Connection profiles — display name, hostname or IP, port, username, favorites, last-connected timestamps.
• Authentication credentials — passwords and/or SSH private keys and optional passphrases, if you choose to save them.
• Agent / project metadata — project names, session bindings, and related labels stored on-device.
• App preferences — appearance and notification settings.

In normal operation, we do not collect or receive on our servers:

• Your SSH passwords or private keys
• The contents of your terminal sessions
• A continuous location track for advertising
• Contact lists, photos, or microphone audio for app functionality

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs for interest-based ads.

When you connect to a server, SSHaven opens an SSH session from your device to that host. Optional local network permission is used only to reach hosts you initiate on your LAN.

If you enable system-level analytics or crash reporting, Apple or Google may process diagnostic data under their privacy practices. Purchases are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), depending on where you bought the App.

On-device data is used solely to provide App features, including:

• Saving and organizing server connections
• Authenticating to SSH servers you select
• Managing imported SSH keys and agent sessions
• Remembering preferences you set

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share SSH credentials with third parties. Information may be disclosed only if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or if you instruct us to (for example by emailing support).

Data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Saved secrets are cleared according to the operating system when the App is removed.

We use platform security features such as the iOS Keychain and Android Keystore for sensitive credentials. You are responsible for device passcodes, biometrics, OS updates, and the security of servers and keys you use with SSHaven.

SSHaven is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

You can edit or delete connections and keys, decline to save secrets, revoke local network permission, or delete the App. Contact [email protected] for requests about data you emailed us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
